On the eve of Victory Day at the meeting of the regional organizing committee "Victory", the governor of Perm Krai awarded memorial signs and medals to teams and employees of defense industry enterprises. One of the award recipients is Natalia Cherkashneva, chief engineer of JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”. She was awarded the anniversary medal "For the Glory and Development of Perm".
Speaking to the audience, Dmitry Makhonin said: “Today, just as during the Great Patriotic War, the enterprises of the region continue to contribute significantly to defensive capacity and safety assurance of our country. These anniversary awards are gratitude for your hard work and enormous contribution to the development of Perm Krai and all of Russia”.
Natalia Cherkashneva has been working at “UEC-Aviadvigatel” for 20 years. For more than three of these years, she worked as the chief metallurgist. Under her direct supervision, new materials and technologies of manufacturing of the new generation PD-14 engine parts have been mastered and introduced into production. A huge amount of work has been done on engine certification; tightened inspection of the quality of blanks and semi-finished products for the manufacture of parts has also been established.
“Ms. Cherkashneva is not just a highly qualified specialist, an excellent production manager, and a reliable business partner. She is a true professional, who can organize the process consistently, cover the whole problem to solve it correctly. At the same time, she can quickly and independently go into the completely new matters for herself”, said Aleksandr Inozemtsev, Managing Director – General Designer of JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Since 2020, Natalia Cherkashneva has been the chief engineer of the development production plant “UEC-Aviadvigatel”. Largely due to her efforts, the Perm design bureau's development production works rhythmically. Reconstruction of the testing and laboratory facilities, assembly development production continues. Methodical work on advanced products is in progress.
Natalia Cherkashneva, constantly participating in scientific forums of Russian and international levels, supports image of “UEC-Aviadvigatel” as a science-based company, confirms the high status of the design bureau as one of the best companies in the industry.
