At “UEC-Aviadvigatel” (a part of Rostec United Engine Corporation), another informal meeting took place between young specialists and First Deputy Managing Director-General Designer, Head of the Design Bureau, Tahir Khairulin, and Director of Human Resources, Tatiana Snitko. The participants discussed the company's strategic development plans, career paths, and personal qualities necessary for a successful career.
The event provided a platform for an open dialogue between management and high-potential employees. The attendees, primarily entry-level engineers, were invited to the breakfast meeting not only for having successfully passed their first professional certification but also for having captured the management's attention with their innovative thinking and active involvement. The young specialists asked a wide range of questions, covering topics from career advancement to the technological challenges facing modern engine manufacturing.
The design bureau's top managers shared advice on how to maintain enthusiasm for work when routine threatens to take over, and how to achieve the desired results no matter what. Takhir Khairulin and Tatiana Snitko shared personal stories of overcoming challenges, which resonated most strongly with the young specialists.
“Meetings like these are an investment in our future. We see in these young people not just new regular workers, but future leaders who will continue to develop the domestic engine manufacturing industry and the Perm design school,” noted First Deputy Managing Director-General Designer, Head of the Design Bureau, Takhir Khairulin.
Responding to the participants' questions, Takhir Khairulin spoke about the development strategy for the engine manufacturing industry and the role of the Perm design school and its young representatives in bringing these prospects to life. The conversation also covered real projects and how the work of each employee today is shaping the company's future.
“I was looking forward to an informal dialogue where we could discuss what truly matters to young specialists. It was important for me to understand the career prospects for computing engineers. I received a clear answer from the Head of the Design Bureau: comprehensive development involving immersion in processes at both experimental and serial production opens up new career horizons,” shared design and computing engineer Sergei Plotnikov.
The mutual exchange of opinions, energy, and the ideas and questions raised will form the foundation for further work with the young talent pool. The breakfast meeting demonstrated that when management and young employees find common ground, the company gains a valuable resource: a shared vision for the future.
