UEC-Perm Engines (a part of the Rostec United Engine Corporation, a member of the Russian Engineering Union) hosted a delegation of industrial leaders from the Perm region. The guests toured around the workshops and the competence center where engine shafts are manufactured, as well as the Perm Engine History Museum.
The purpose of the visit was a working meeting on the issues of development of the Perm Engines Research & Production Complex. The heads of Perm engine-building companies discussed opportunities for cooperation to more effectively implement their own production programs and further develop the complex, as well as the current issues related to the region's industrial activities in the current environment.
The guests visited the final assembly shop for aircraft engines, saw portable exposition of the advanced PD-14 assemblies and parts, as well as different stages of the PS-90A and PD-14 assembly process. They also visited the final assembly shop for industrial engines, where they were shown engines ready for the shipment to customers, such as PS-90GP-25, PS-90GP-1 rated at 12 MW, and PS-90GP-2 rated at 16 MW.
The next stops were the GTE Shafts Competence Center, where transmission shafts are manufactured for all UEC companies, and the Perm Engine History Museum.

The host party was represented by UEC Deputy Director for Perm Engines Research & Production Complex Management, Managing Director and General Designer of UEC-Aviadvigatel, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Inozemtsev, Executive Director of UEC-Perm Engines, Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union Sergey Kharin.
