The ASh-82 is an aircraft piston-type internal combustion engine, developed under the guidance of the Soviet design engineer A.D. Shvetsov. The prototype was a radial air-cooled engine.
The modified engine became the first serial Soviet engine with fuel injection system. It was developed from the M-62. Altogether, 70 000 engines of this family group were produced.
