In the February 2017 the HR and Training Center chief executives of UEC and fifteen other corporation members have visited Perm Design Bureau during HR Forum.
UEC HR Forum is an annual corporate event, the main objective of which is to determine and set top priority goals, and to schedule works in the group staffing. This year the Forum was held at the premises of UEC-Perm Engines in Perm for the first time.
The event was attended by the representatives of the companies within the Corporation integrated system, such as JSC “Gas-Turbine Engineering Research and Production Center “Salut”, its branch “Omsk Engine-Building Association named after P.I.Baranov”, PAO “NPO Saturn”, PAO “Ufa Engine-Building Production Association”, PAO “Kuznetsov”, JSC “UEC-Gas Turbines”, JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, JSC “UEC-Perm Engines”, JSC “UEC-STAR”, JSC “Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise”, JSC “Klimov”, OJSC “218 Automotive Equipment Maintenance Plant”, OJSC “570 Automotive Equipment Maintenance Plant”, JSC “712 Automotive Equipment Maintenance Plant, JSC “Aramil Aircraft Repair Company”.
After having discussed the main issues participants visited Perm enterprises within the United Engine Corporation including UEC-Aviadvigatel.
Accompanied by the specialists and company division principals, visitors have been to pilot production at UEC-Aviadvigatel. A key point of the tour and a subject of focused attention became new PD-14 aircraft engine on the assembly shop floor. Forum attendees examined the engine with interest and learned about the nuances of its sophisticated creation, and they also have seen the sampling robotic system, exclusive in Russia.
UEC-Aviadvigatel is a leading developer of the Next Generation turbofan bypass engine family. At the moment a pilot batch of PD-14 engines is being produced for engineering certification tests to be conducted on the benches in Perm, Rybinsk, on high-altitude test facility at Baranov Central Institute of Aviation Motors, and on wing of Il-76LL flying laboratory.
