UEC-Aviadvigatel released to regular route a branded bus dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Pavel Soloviev. Engine builders from Russia and all around the world will celebrate the designer’s anniversary on 26th of June 2017.
The bus No.66 is decorated with Aviadvigatel’s jubilee logo depicting MS-21 aircraft to be powered by PD-14 being developed by Russian engine makers headed by Perm Design Bureau, and with slogan “Perm and Aviadvigatel: 77 years together!”.
The idea of this branded bus belongs to Aviadvigatel engineers who would like to celebrate the anniversary of Pavel Soloviev together with all Perm citizens. Indeed, the bus route No. 66 is one of the longest and most popular with citizens, as it connects Parkovy and Krokhalev community areas covering the city center.
Every day from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. until the end of the year this jubilee bus will carry Perm citizens reminding them of great fellow-countryman, the maker of aircraft engines.
Pavel Alexandrovich Soloviev is a founder of native aviation by-pass gas-turbine engine building, the General Designer of Perm Design Bureau. Under his guidance engines were created for aircrafts such as Tu-124, Tu-134, Tu-154M, Il-62M, Il-76, MiG-31, Il-96, Tu-204, Tu-214, helicopters Mi-6 and Mi-10.
