Dmitry Nikitin, a specialist from UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC team, as a semifinalist of All-Russia Open Competition Leaders of Russia for managers of the new generation.
The competition is held by order of the President of the Russian Federation as part of platform “Russia is the Country of Opportunities” and is aimed at finding, developing and supporting managers-leaders having high level of managerial competencies from all over the country. Dmitry Nikitin, the head of the mechanical support brigade of the new developments division of UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC, reached the semifinal of prestigious All-Russia Competition Leaders of Russia. More than 200 thousand people from across Russia entered the competition. Only 2700 participants reached semifinal, 300 from each federal district.

Following the results of remote tests, 28 most effective managers of the Perm region were chosen for the semifinal of Privolzhsky Federal District, that took place in Nizhnii Novgorod city. As Dmitry Nikitin says, “getting to the semifinal was equal to entering a higher educational establishment with 100 applicants per place. It is a striking result!”
During the three days of the semifinal, the participants were fully assessed in different personal and group tasks. Addressing the contestants, Presidential plenipotentiary representative in Privolzhsky Federal District Mikhail Babich said that each participant would be “taken a note of” by the leaders of the regions and can expect an interesting job offer.
D.A. Nikitin have been working for UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC for seven years and would like to continue his career in the company. Dmitry graduated from the Perm State National Research University and decided to join design bureau “Aviadvigatel”.
“As of today, it is one of the most knowledge-based and innovative enterprises of the country, that is why working in the design bureau is interesting for me. Hopefully, participating in the Leaders of Russia competition will be a useful aid for my career”, - said D. Nikitin. The management of UEC-Aviadvigatel supports the initiatives of the young active manager. Dmitry was twice the winner of the Young Analyst competition and is in the talent pool list for the young in the Perm region.
