In February 2019, the total running time of Ural-6000 GT Gensets went beyond 1 000 000 hours.
Ural-6000 GT Gensets developed by UEC-Aviadvigatel have been in service since 2004. During 15 years Perm engine manufacturers supplied to their customers 49 gensets of this type. Their total power is 294 MW.
The major customers of the equipment are the compines of the fuel and power generation industry, chemical and petrochemical industry of Russia: Gazprom dobytcha Nadym, Lukoil-Western Siberia, Yargeo, Rosneft, Irkutsk Oil Company, T Plus, Uralkaliy, Sibur-Chimprom, Yukateks -Yugra.
Ural-6000 GT Gensets are based on GTU-6P gas turbine and operate with natural and associated oil gas in a simple and cogeneration cycle producing both heat and power if required for the Customer. Captive power plants offer great benefits to the companies: economic efficiency, independence from global power grids and energy security. When operating with associated oil gas, Ural-6000 allows the owner to avoid burning the oil gas at flare facilities but insrtead dispose it on site. Alongside with technical and economical benefits use of Perm equipment allows satisfying strict environmental standards.
In 2015 Ural-6000 GT genset became a prize winner of the All Russian Competition “100 Top Products of Russia”.
