On May 23, 2019, a delegation headed by Anatoliy Serduykov, the industrial director of the aviation cluster in State Corporation Rostekh, visited UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC.
Anatoliy Serdyukov, who took the lead of the Board of Directors of the United Engine corporation on May 13, is inspecting the companies of UEC and its cluster. The program of visit includes attending all the Perm companies engaged with the Rostech aviation cluster.
During the tour, Anatoliy Serdyukov was accompanied by Oleg Bocharov - Deputy Minister of Industry of the RF, Yuriy Shmotin – General Designer of UEC JSC, representatives of the main segments of the Rostech State Corporation: experts in manufacturing process management, in economic and financial activities management and others. Aleksey Chibisov, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Business of the region, also participated in welcoming the guests.
The purpose of the visit is to see the progress of executing the PD family engines development projects.
The Managing Director - General Designer of the Design Bureau, Aleksandr Inozemtsev, demonstrated the on-site robotized line for manufacturing the samples of new aircraft materials. Then the members of the delegation visited the indoor test rig of UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC where the newest aircraft engine – PD-14 – is being tested; went to see the exhibition of the engine and nacelle parts and components, and turbine and compressor shops of the Perm Design Bureau.
In conclusion of the visit, Anatoliy Serdyukov held a meeting where Aleksandr Inozemtsev told about the status of the PD family engines development.
