In February 2020, JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel” hosted the first in-person session of TIPS-2020 (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) of State Corporation “ROSTEC”.
The topic of the session is the “Embedding of the TIPS practice in business processes of organizations: problems, tasks and solutions”
More than a hundred specialists from 76 industrial enterprises of the corporation attended the session. All participants had previously been trained on the TIPS methodology, so the main task of the session was to study the possibilities of actively introducing TIPS practice at Rostec enterprises. For three days, the participants discussed the plans, problems and tasks of this process.
According to Alexander Kashirin, the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council, the session was attended by designers, technologists, engineers who have TIPS tools to solve problematic issues. And this helps to accelerate innovative development and the creation of new products and technologies.
Presentations were made by the leading experts of the Scientific and Technical Council and TIPS centre of the SC “Rostec”, as well as by Yury Shmotin, General Designer of JSC “United Engine Corporation”. He, in particular, said: “In order the top-requested competitive products appear, it is necessary to promote innovation, develop cooperation between companies, cross the boundaries between industries and science, create new opportunities for people who solve problems and bring new ideas to life".
“UEC-Aviadvigatel”, a developer of advanced equipment for aviation and industry, has become a platform for TIPS session not by chance. The Perm Design Bureau as a locomotive for the development of civil engine technology is ready to share with colleagues its experience in solving complex problems, and not only inventive ones.
Alexander Inozemtsev, Managing Director and General Designer of JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, presented the TIPS community with a report on the “Scientific and Technical Tasks of Creating New Generation Aircraft Engines”. Also, Tatyana Snitko, Deputy Managing Director and HR Director of JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, made a report on “UEC-Aviadvigatel Personnel Development for Ensuring Innovation Activities: Models, Strategies, Problems and Tasks”.
For the participants of the session, an excursion to the “UEC-Aviadvigatel” was organized, during which they were able to visit the development production, test benches and design departments of the Perm Design Bureau.
