UEC-Aviadvigatel provided charitable assistance to the Perm branch of the All-Russian Society of Nature Conservation in organizing an environmental seminar for children left without parental care and pupils of school No. 41 named after P.A. Solovyov.
The travelling seminar “Ecohackathon” was held from 26 to 31 July at the educational and scientific camp “Preduralye” of Perm State University. The seminar was attended by ten pupils of the Center for children deprived of parental care, and ten pupils of 5-7 grades of school No. 41 in Perm.
The six-day programme of the seminar included environmental education lessons, field observations of birds and insects, research paper competition, psychological training and rafting down the Sylva River. The winner of the research paper competition was Ivan Golyamin, a pupil of the Center for children deprived of parental care, who was awarded a Yong Environmentalist certificate. All participants received gifts – T-shirts, raincoats, backpacks, books, games and sweets.

– The topic of Ecohakathon’s classes is respect for nature, separate garbage collection, subjects of an ecological profile. One of the seminar objectives is socialization and psychological support of children from children's home, the development of their communication skills. For some children it was the first rafting in their lives, they bathed a lot, sat by the night fire. Together we did a great job.
