This year, 44 applicants have been enrolled at Perm National Research Polytechnic University and Ural Federal University under the target recruitment programme of UEC-Aviadvigatel (a member of United Engine Corporation of Rostec).
32 applicants were enrolled at the Aerospace Faculty of PNRPU majoring in Design of Aircraft Engines and Power Equipment, 9 applicants at the Electrical Engineering Faculty, 2 people at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty, and one person at the UrFU majoring in Software Engineering.
The grade point average on the Unified State Exam for students of target recruitment programme (in the sum of the three subjects - Physics/Computer Science, Mathematics, and Russian) is 226 points. The grade point average of target recruitment students majoring in “Design of aircraft engines and power equipment” of the Aerospace Faculty is 232 points (202 to 289 points).
For the first time, a pilot group with additional English language study has been formed from the target recruitment group of UEC-Aviadvigatel students. English classes will be increased from two to ten hours a week and will follow the Cambridge system. The students have already been tested to determine their English language levels and have been divided into three study groups.
UEC-Aviadvigatel target recruitment programme allows school graduates to obtain higher technical education at PNRPU in design bureau-related professions. The company pays a corporate scholarship for the first semester to students who achieve 200 points in Unified State Exam and then pass their end-of-semester exams with an excellent mark, as well as providing paid internship in study-free time. After graduation, target recruitment students are guaranteed employment in their chosen field of study.
