In the period from 4 to 8 October 2021 UEC-Aviadvigatel (part of Rostech’s United Engine Corporation) is participating in the jubilee Xth Petersburg International Gas Forum – the major special congress & exhibition event of oil & gas industry. The display of UEC will include the latest development of Perm Design Bureau – industrial PD-14GP-1/-2 gas turbine engine.
PD-14GP-1/-2 is developed on the basis of the core of PD-14 Russian aircraft engine and will be used in gas compressor packages for gas transportation and in power generation plants. The new engine may be used both for retrofitting the existing gas pumping and power generation equipment and for new facilities construction. The key advantages of PD-14GP-1/-2 are: 6…8% higher fuel efficiency, NOx emission – below 50 mg/m3, service life – 200K hours.
As explained by Alexander Inozemtsev, UEC-Aviadvigatel’s Managing Director – General Designer, Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Perm Design Bureau’s new product compliance with Russian and international environmental regulations is achieved through use of efficient engineering solutions, dry low emission combustion chamber technology that has already been implemented in GTU-16PM and GTU-25PM gas turbines. “Use of the high performance core makes PD-14GP-1/-2 highly competitive with foreign analogs”, – emphasized Alexander Inozemtsev.
On 7 October 2021, as part of the forum’s business program UEC-Aviadvigatel will deliver a presentation “New 12…16 MW gas turbines based on PD-14”. Managers of the major oil & gas and power generation companies, representatives of innovation centers, research institutes, industry and federal media are invited to the presentation.
