On December 16, 2021, a delegation of Perm aircraft engine industry specialists visited Rostec State Corporation’s production and training center at UEC-UMPO. The delegation included representatives of UEC-Perm Engines, UEC-Aviadvigatel, Perm Aviation Secondary Technical School named after A. Shvetsov and the virtual museum of UEC-Aviadvigatel.
The Rostec State Corporation Production and Training center at UEC-UMPO provides an opportunity to learn the most in-demand mechanical engineering professions using high-tech equipment. Training is free of charge and employment is guaranteed.
70% of training time is devoted to practice and 30% to theoretical classes. In the center’s production complex, students work on up-to-date equipment: 150 large-sized machines and 45 machines with numerical control. The center is equipped with laboratories and classrooms.
After completion of training, every graduate will be able to work fully on modern equipment, having mastered 4-6 related occupations within the same speciality.
As part of their official visit, the Perm specialists also visited the museum of UEC-UMPO.
