Perm Engines shipped Gas Turbine Units to Gazprom

13.09.2022

Early in September, JSC “UEC-Perm Engines” (part of Rostec United Engine Corporation) has shipped four sets of GT units for Gazprom's facilities.

Two sets of GTU-25P were shipped to booster compressor station (BCS) of the GP-1 of Bovanenkovskoye OGCF Gazprom Dobycha Nadym gasfield. GTU-25P units, derivatives of PS-90GP-25 engines, are designed for the technical upgrade of gas compressor packages at BCS. Foreign engines will be replaced in full with domestic PS-90GP-25 engines. In total, five engines of the gas compressor packages will be replaced at GP-1 booster compressor station of Bovanenkovskoye OGCF. Three more GTU-25Ps production and shipment are scheduled for 2023.

Two sets of GTU-10P were shipped to Chayandinskoye OGCF of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk for the unique manufacturing facility, which is a membrane helium recovery plant. Presently, six GTU-10Ps, incorporated into gas compressor packages, are already in operation at Helium Plant. Chayandinskoye OGCF is a large resource base of the Power of Siberia main gas pipeline.

“Factory products performance, including output and reliability, helps Gazprom to successfully implement the projects of strategic importance for the country. Today we pay special attention to the quality of our products and after-sales services with a view of effective long-term cooperation,” – says Aleksandr Inozemtsev, Deputy General Director of UEC for Perm Engines Research & Production Complex.

10 MW GTU-10P and 25 MW GTU-25P gas turbine units (designed by JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, a part of Rostec United Engine Corporation) are derived from the PS-90A core engine that powers current domestic passenger aircrafts, such as IL-96-300, TU-204, TU-214. GTU-25P is recognized by experts as the most high-performance drive.
