On April 2, the enterprises of UEC-Perm Engines Research and Production Complex (a part of Rostec United Engine Corporation) took part in the Open Day at PNRPU. Specialists from UEC-Aviadvigatel and UEC-Perm Engines presented the targeted recruitment programme to future applicants of the aerospace and mechanical engineering faculties.
According to Ruslan Garifzyanov, executive secretary of the Admission committee at PNRPU, the hallmark of the event was a fair of partner companies and defense industry enterprises of Perm Krai. It gathered more than 35 industrial companies. This is a familiar format for Perm engine builders – they have been participating in the Open Days of PNRPU and Aerospace Faculty for more than ten years.
“Open Day – is a great platform for communication, it’s a kind of information portal where kids and their parents get the information they need. This means that they make a more conscious decision about their further education,” said Vladimir Modorsky, Dean of the Aerospace Faculty/ - Today’s Open Day clearly demonstrates the link “school-university-enterprise”. It is important that all links of this chain work for the common result”.
Among the guests at the Perm Engine stands were not only high school students. Dmitry Davydov, an eighth-grade student at School No. 96, wants to become an engineer, but has not yet decided on the direction. “In September, our school plans to open aircraft engineering classes. I want to find out more about the possibility to continue studying in this field at the university,” Dima shared his plans.
“The purpose of Perm Engines’ participation in the Open Day is to show future applicants that PNRPU is not only a high-quality and prestigious education on the terms of target education. This is also a guaranteed employment at the best industrial enterprises of Perm,” – stressed Tatiana Snitko, Deputy Managing Director – HR Director at UEC-Aviadvigatel. – In 2023 enterprises of UEC-Perm Engines Research and Production Complex plan to recruit up to 90 “target students” to study at the Aerospace Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Faculty and Electrical Engineering Faculty. Open Day is the most popular career guidance event among applicants. According to PNRPU statistics, about 70% of first-year students who have signed target education agreements learn about the program and future employers here. At the past event, the target recruitment programme of Perm Engines for 2023 was launched.
