UEC-Perm Engines (part of the Rostec United Engine Corporation) has met its annual production plan for ground gas turbine units. The reliability measures are higher than those required by specifications.
The company's management has reported about this fact during a meeting on the application of the industrial gas turbine engines at the facilities of PAO “GAZPROM”, that was held at UEC-Perm Engines.
The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the GT engines production and repair programs in the year of 2023, the reliability measures of the industrial engines produced by UEC-Perm Engines, and operated by the GAZPROM structures, as well as the actions taken to up-grade and expand the manufacturing capabilities of UEC-Aviadvigatel.
One of the suggestions was to introduce the PS and PD GT-engine lines into the GAZPROM new construction and reconstruction projects up to 2030, and to equip PS-90GP-2 and PS-90GP-25 with DLE combustors, and et al.
The event was attended by Anatoly Serdyukov, Industrial Engineering Director of the Aviation Complex of Rostec State Corporation; Vadim Badekha, General Director of UEC; Aleksandr Inozemtsev, Managing Director – General Designer of UEC-Aviadvigatel; and the representatives of government authorities and leaders of industry. The meeting was chaired by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Head of Department of PAO GAZPROM.
“More than 30 years ago, at the behest of GAZPROM we created a high-tech industry in which we are globally independent and can withstand any challenges of the time. Perm engine manufacturers are ready to take an active part in the upgrading process of the Russian gas pipeline system, supply the best equipment to GAZPROM, and ensure continuous operation of GTUs at the process facilities”, says Mr. Inozemtsev, Managing Director – General Designer of UEC-Aviadvigatel.
Perm Engines and GAZPROM have been cooperating since 1992. During this time, there were more than 800 GTUs manufactured for GAZPROM, which is 64% of the total number of units produced. The total capacity of the equipment supplied to GAZPROM amounts to over 12.6 GW (78% of the total capacity of the entire GTU fleet). Total running time exceeds 21 million hours (more than 50% of total fleet running time).
