20.12.2023

In early December, Perm hosted the sixth creativity competition "On Take Off!". More than 30 employees of Perm Engines (JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel” and JSC “UEC-Perm Engines”, part of Rostec United Engine Corporation) and students of the Perm Technical School of Industrial Technologies named after B.G. Izgagin took part in the competition.

The traditional competition "On Take Off!" unites talented engine manufacturers and inspires them to create unique performances. On stage, participants bravely express their sincere feelings and share a part of their soul with the audience. Through their performances, the artists prove that nothing is impossible for them, that they can love, be friends, forgive, dream and accomplish feats.

The managers of Perm Engines Research and Production Complex – Tatyana Snitko, Deputy Managing Director and HR Director at JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”, and Nikolay Andreev, Director for Capital Construction at JSC “UEC-Perm Engines”, welcomed the participants and the guests.

Twenty creative performances from employees and students were presented to the audience and jury. The contestants showed themselves in three areas: "Choreography", "Art of Declamation" and "Singing", the latter, as usual, became the most popular. In addition, a new award was introduced this year – the "Audience Choice Award".

According to the results of the competition in the "Singing" nomination the first place was taken by Andrey Blinov, Deputy Head of Department ("UEC-Aviadvigatel"), the second place went to Anastasia Yugova, Design Engineer ("UEC-Aviadvigatel"), the third place went to Nadezhda Baldykova, Assembler ("UEC-Perm Engines").

Special prizes were awarded to specialist Vera Sukhanova (“UEC-Aviadvigatel”) and quality inspector Anastasia Ignatyeva (“UEC-Perm Engines”).

Three prize-winning places in the "Art of Declamation" nomination were taken by employees of "UEC-Perm Engines": the award for the first place and the "Audience Choice Award" went to Alexander Khuzin, Production Engineer; the second place went to Yana Ezhova, Economist; the third place went to Dina Farkhutdinova, Senior Foreman.

Yana Ezhova performed at the gala concert "On Take Off!" for the first time and immediately stole the hearts of the audience and jury with her performance of Vladimir Mayakovsky poem "A Good Attitude to Horses". Yana became interested in literature at school, and participation in the competition was a great victory for her: "Thanks to the contest, I realized that I can overcome my fears and insecurities. The competition is a chance to reveal my talents, gain invaluable experience working with a team of professional organizers and make new friends".

In the "Choreography" nomination the theater and dance group Paradise (Perm Technical School of Industrial Technologies named after B.G. Izgagin) won, the duo of system engineers Vitaly Kupchik and Ekaterina Shikareva ("UEC-Perm Engines") took the second place, the third place was taken by technician Arina Singatullina ("UEC-Aviadvigatel").

"The enterprise strives to support the talents of employees, to make their lives rich and interesting. We give engine manufacturers and students an opportunity to express themselves, to develop not only professionally but also creatively, so that there is always positivity in life," said Stella Emir-Veli, Head of the Corporate Culture and Youth Policy Department of UEC-Perm Engines.
