The EGES-12CA gas turbine generating set designed and manufactured by Perm enterprise UEC-Aviadvigatel (part of the Rostec United Engine Corporation) has won the All-Russian competition "100 Best Goods of Russia-2023".
The EGES-12CA gas turbine generating set was awarded three prizes of the competition "100 Best Goods of Russia" in 2023: the title of the competition winner in the nomination "Industrial and technology products", the honorary title "Golden Hundred" as a product included in the first hundred of the best goods of Russia and the golden cup "For Success in Import Substitution", the highest award of the competition "100 Best Goods of Russia".
EGES-12C have been in serial production since 2004. Since then, 70 generating sets with a total capacity of 852 MW have been delivered to customer facilities, the total operating time of the sets since the start of operation has exceeded 5.5 million hours.
Most EGES-12C utilize associated petroleum gas to generate electricity and heat, which allows solving the tasks of reducing hazardous substances emissions, improving the environmental situation, increasing energy efficiency and energy security of oil business.
LLC “LUKOIL-Western Siberia” is a major customer of EGES-12C. At their facilities, the power plants are operated under the program of branded repair and maintenance of gas turbine equipment throughout the entire service life, with payment for actual machine hours worked.
According to the results of the competition, Sergey Mishenin, Head of the Future Projects Department of "UEC-Aviadvigatel", was awarded the badge of honor "Excellent Worker of Quality".
The award ceremony was held at the Shpagin Plant. In 2023, 1,360 Russian enterprises and more than 2,000 units of products became participants of the competition.
